Hanging in the Loop
It took awhile since stores are already selling summer merchandise, but I finally found and purchased, after a 2-day search, a knit cap to ward off the cold. However, temperatures appeared to warm at least 5 degrees as soon as I exited the store with my purchase. Perhaps there's a sign I'm missing. Here's more pictures of the city as we roam Grant Park in the south loop. Pictured below is the Buckingham Fountain, one of the largest I've seen with a base diameter of 280 feet. Every hour on the hour, the fountain shoots a jet water stream up to a height of 150 feet for 20 minutes.
